Mace appointed to North West Collaborative Commercial Agency framework

The Mace health team has been appointed as preferred supplier for project management services to the North West Collaborative Commercial Agency (NWCCA) framework. The NWCCA is an award winning collaborative purchasing agency for NHS Trusts in the North West of England. The agency has helped healthcare trusts achieve more than £90m in savings for the last four years. This appointment means that Mace can now help these 48 NHS Trusts to drive out inefficiency and reduce costs, allowing them to reinvest savings into enhanced patient care.
Mace operations director Jonathan Tucker said: "Over 200 companies applied to join this framework, so to end up as one of only six appointed to the framework is a great achievement for the team. it is a huge opportunity to develop our services with the NHS in this region."
The successful appointment allows the northern health team to build on the strong reputation and experience they have established in North Wales and Scotland as part of the Designed for Life: Building for Wales and Health Facilities Scotland frameworks.
